July is all about health and fitness and getting serious about a 5K and eating healthy. Oh, I didn't realize that until I looked at my book! I wrote these intentions in January, but I am excited about it. I can do this, I know I can.
- Exercise Every Day - No Excuses. - I will write what I do on my calendar in the kitchen. The big one that is available for everyone to see. Accountability.
- Restart Couch to 5K. - Now, my husband doesn't really think I should run a 5K... he says I am fine just walking, but I can do this. So, back to the training I go.
- Practice Plank. I want to be able to hold the plank position for 1 minute by the end of the month. I know, it doesn't seem like much, but it is my hope.
- Sugar. I eat pretty healthy, but I like sweet things. My husband bakes and also is a little in love with sweet things. I can cut these out. I'll just switch to fruit. It's July after all, this can't be that hard. Right?
My goal isn't to weigh what I did in high school, run very fast, or even be skinny. I just want to experience my body in the best possible shape it can be in at 43.
