I launched my site jacquelinewolven.com yesterday. I've gotten a few questions about why I did this. Hopefully this will answer them:
Why the new site design? I was ready for a change in design and had been playing with this for a while. I like very clean design and this just epitomizes that for me.
Why did you change your domain name? Ultimately, I am trying to de-compartmentalize my life. Instead of having work and life boundaries I am just living and working. When a client hires me for consulting or speaking they are usually hiring the whole me - the whole package - not just one aspect. I felt this was the time to start moving in that direction.
What are you expecting from this? Secretly? I want to write a book and speak more. If I do that I want them to go to one place to find all of what I have to offer. Oh, I guess that isn't a secret now.
Who helped with the coding? DCS, Doug and Patti are my rock star coders who I don't do anything without.
Will there be more added to the site? I have a bunch of back pages built that those buttons are supposed to go to, but for right now I am really happy to have them link directly to my blog categories.
That pretty much sums it up. It seems simple, but if you have read about this decision you know it wasn't easy to start living under one name - my name. Wish me luck!
